These are special badges which you can earn when you work by yourself. Proficiency badges give you lots of opportunities to try new skills and hobbies. Please check the Guide Handbook for details. You do not have to have to do all the badges but there are compulsory badges where you can choose based on the options. There are a total of 36 proficiency badges and the work towards the badges begins after Golden bar. The little maids will get the privilege to wear the wing badge after enrolling as guide in the guide sash. The little maids will get the opportunity to fly to guides. Little maids need to complete 25 tests in order to get the golden hand badge. Little maids need to complete 16 tests in order to get the Golden ladder badge. Enrolment badge is given to each little maid at the enrolment ceremony. Little maids need to complete 17 tests in order to be enrolled as a little maid. Little maids need to complete 15 tests in order to be enrolled as a little maid. Can also wear the working uniform even if you are not enrolled Working uniform will be worn at all unofficial meetings. The working uniform is white coloured T shirt with dark blue divided skirt as shown in the drawing.Official uniform should be worn to the first meeting of each month. So for the first time the official uniform is worn for the little maids’ enrolment ceremony. The official uniform is only worn by enrolled members. Should not wear any jewellery or makeup (except for a simple ear ring.Should be worn with white shoes and white sock.If you wear burga (head covering) it should be white in colour.Should not wear any other badges that is not shown in the illustration. Each six under a Guider or “sixer” and she is helped by a “second”. The Little maid pack is divided into group of six. The pennant has little maid badge on a side of a triangular piece of blue clothe. This is used for our ceremonies and in our meetings. The flag used for little maid is called the pennant. Little maids shake the hand with right hand. When you do something to help you are doing a good turn. This is a golden rule of guides all over the world.
